Our Yoga Teachers
We feel incredibly fortunate to have a wonderful array of London's finest and most dedicated yoga teachers on our team. Our teachers share a deep love for yoga and teaching, and they put their heart and soul into every class they lead. Each of our instructors brings their own distinct style to the mat, and we embrace and appreciate every individual interpretation of yoga. We're all about celebrating the diverse and beautiful world of yoga! 😊🧘♀️🧘♂️
Charlotte is a yoga teacher and Thai bodyworker. She has trained and practised different styles of bodywork over the last 15 years, and while travelling in Thailand in 2015 she fell in love with Thai Yoga massage. She's specialised in Thai medicinal herbs, Thai reflexology & pregnancy massages.
Aly is a qualified Systematic Kinesiologist, bodyworker, and intuitive guide, with a deep passion for helping people connect with their innate wisdom by giving their bodies a voice. With a strong focus on the mind-body connection, Aly uses her gifts to help people safely come back into the body, allowing them to identify and process what needs to be felt so they can gain more clarity and get to the root cause of an issue.
Ella has built up her practice and knowledge through her time as a Dance Artist and Yoga teacher. Her classes focus on building courage and mental clarity through asana and breathwork, moving alongside our unexpected and ever-changing body and mind. She finds joy in exploring the body's innate sense of expression, letting go of any expectations of what we should be doing, to cultivate creativity, and have fun! Ella hopes to hold a warm, and inclusive space in which to practice.
Emma is a qualified Pilates instructor based in London. Her classes will help to align your mind and body and leave you feeling energised. Focussing on your full body her classes are open to all abilities and she hopes to be able to show you the benefits of Pilates both on and off the mat.
John is a strong believer that yoga is for every body. In addition to receiving certifications in vinyasa, yin and restorative yoga instruction, he has trained with Accessible Yoga School on making yoga classes welcoming, inclusive and accessible to students of all abilities and body types. Expect a bit of fun and playfulness in his classes, as he encourages students to gain a better understanding of their bodies by exploring movement and the use of props.
Natasha found yoga through her training as a professional dancer. After completing her Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees in contemporary dance, she needed a daily physical practice she could take anywhere and through yoga, found the perfect exercise for body and mind alike. Informed by her varied movement experience, Natasha loves to create classes that flow and to encourage her students to find joy in moving their bodies; always finding balance between effort and ease.
Natasha is also a massage therapist with over eight years experience in bodywork. Since completing her Level 5 Diploma in Soft Tissue Remedial Therapy at London School of Sports Massage, she has been developing her remedial therapy practice and works with various techniques to facilitate treatments based on the individuals needs, including: injury rehabilitation, deep tissue and holistic massage. She offers massage, soft tissue and myofascial release, neuromuscular techniques, muscle energy techniques, and joint assessment and injury rehabilitation at FOLD Wellbeing.
Come to class for poetry in motion. Strong, sensual, playful flows with a focus on sensory awakening. In class with Helen we use movement, music and breath to unravel old patterns, find wiggle room in rigidity and get to know ourselves truly & deeply with whole hearted compassion.
Adelah's introduction to yoga was purely as a physical exercise that could help her recover from a knee injury. After years of egocentric asana-focused practice (that only led to further injury!) Adelah began to explore the other limbs of yoga and her practice evolved into considerate, loving and thoughtful movement guided by breath.
Adelah felt inspired to teach yoga to share it with others who didn't feel like they belonged in yoga studios and couldn't see how yoga might benefit their lives.
Adelah teaches a vinyasa flow style, with more emphasis on the flow and freedom of movement. You are given the space to listen to your body and learn how to move in response to it's needs.
Jacqui strongly believes that the attitude and temperament you pursue in your practice builds a bridge to what you focus on away from the mat. It is the sharpening of powerful tools and a movement of an inner energy that allows you to take what you’ve cultivated in your practice, out into the world.
Local yogi, crazy dog lady and Fold owner Zoe teaches a strong, playful flow. After training as a theatre director, she realised just how limited her understanding of the way bodies function in space was - and trained as a yoga teacher to learn more. She brings a sense of experimentation, play and lightness to each class, aiming to teach athletic and dynamic practice to help students out of their heads and into their bodies. Alongside Fold, she has worked with Frame, Psycle, Deliciously Ella, Nike, Sweaty Betty, Lululemon, Madeleine Shaw and Millie Mackintosh.
Tamara’s yoga style combines strength and release, encouraging students to explore the freedom of movement alongside the connection between body and breath. Tamara’s passion for yoga infiltrates her teaching, where she guides playful, grounding and energetic classes for all levels. Expect classes that focus on alignment and body awareness to guide you through a powerful moving meditation session.
Rosie started practicing yoga 12 years ago, with a singular goal: to touch her toes. She succeeded and came to the realisation that there’s a whole lot more to yoga than loose hamstrings. By busying her body with making shapes, Rosie allowed her mind to process and achieve new perspectives on life. Rosie went on to train with Frog Lotus Yoga in 2016 and now teaches dynamic vinyasa classes with creative sequencing, long holds and plenty of props to help you to understand the postures in greater detail.
Having spent time in a Buddhist community in Northern California learning the practice of meditation and the teachings of energy as resources for boundless awareness, Molly’s yoga practice is energetic, creative and grounding. Molly believes in the power of body movement as a language in different realms and harnesses this focus in her classes. Expect to float and ground yourself in dynamically structured sequences.
For Lucy, yoga has remained a singular constant in her hectic London life. Having been introduced to yoga during her degree in Dance, Lucy went on to complete Vinyasa Flow training at The Refinery, a 50-hour advanced teacher training in Teaching Techniques with Sunday School Yoga, and is currently completing a mentorship with Ellie Di Martino. Lucy’s classes are derived from strong vinyasa roots, weaving her dance background in to allow students to explore and delve deeper into their bodies through breath and feeling.
Kimberley had her first meaningful encounter with yoga 9 years ago in New York City, and has been devoted to the practice ever since. Kimberley’s simple approach to teaching is refreshing: breath matters, mindful movement matters and, above all, kindness matters. Drawing from her teacher training in Spain and London, Kimberley’s classes emphasise integrity and she aims to create an atmosphere where students feel encouraged, energised and motivated. Kimberley believes in the power of positive yoga, and the karmic aspect of yoga philosophy.
Helen has been teaching dynamic flow yoga since 2017, after completing a 200-hour yoga teacher training with Stretch London - but has been exploring yoga, dance and movement for a lifetime! Impressively, Helen is not only trained in yoga, but also barre, has a GTP in dance and a 1st Class Honours degree in Dance Studies. With energetic and dynamic classes to support mobility and increase strength, Helen make sure her classes are a space for mental and physical progress.
